Learn astronomy in a fun way!

as a follow-up to the holding of the Stars activity in November 2022, the Stars awardees shared the experience and knowledge they had gained with IPB International students in an event entitled "Stars Multiplier Programme". this activity supported by Erasmus+ and FIFEDE Foundation was held on 19 February 2023.

There were a number of activities in this event, including the introduction of Erasmus+, FIFEDE Foundation, and Stars delivered by the Head of the Cooperation, Public Relations, Promotion, and Alumni Bureau, as well as the Stars awardee, Mr. Ida Bagus Ketut Soma Antara, S.Tr.Par., M.Par. Furthermore, the event was filled with subject on introduction to astronomy and astrology, relation between Balinese Legends and Astronomy, Stargazing and astronomy explanation, and outdoor activity of egg horoscope hunter, all of which were led by the previous year's Stars awardee.

In the "egg horoscope hunter" activity, the committee scattered a number of eggs containing zodiac symbols in various hidden places in the IPBI campus area. Participants who are divided into two groups are tasked with finding eggs with all the zodiac symbols. after the twelve zodiacs have been obtained, the participant must stand in a row holding the egg based on the exact zodiac order according to the zodiac date. This activity has many benefits, including training team cohesiveness, dexterity and accuracy, training participants' memories of names, symbols, and zodiac dates. At the end of the session it was also conveyed that there was a new zodiac that was not often heard of by the public, especially in Indonesia, namely Ophiuchus.

The Stars Multiplier Program activity was chaired by Angelina Hartono, a Diploma 4 student in Tourism Management who is also a Stars awardee. The Stars Multiplier Program aims to introduce the world of astronomy and non-formal learning to more people. So it is hoped that this experience can be used for various purposes.
